Sustainability

Building a sustainable future is at the core of our activities.

In order to improve the quality of life for everyone in a meaningful lasting way, EDECS believes that it's vital to manage those developments through various mediums that operate simultaneously.

Whether it is through undertaking projects that directly save lives, nurturing future leaders, raising the bar for health & safety in the construction field in the region, or through other valuable forms.

SUPPORTING THE YOUTH

As a multinational construction company, our role extends to enhancing the communities in which we operate and to provide value to people of all backgrounds. We provide an annual internship program with the intention of training the bright minds of the younger generations of engineers for a better future.

Watch below the Minister of Transportation, Lt Gen Kamel Al-Wazir, explain to our interns the value of getting hands-on experience in the site.

CONSTRUCTION SITES

Safe and organized construction sites are a necessity for any project we undertake.

EDECS is recognized for its construction sites by various international organizations.

A safety and accident prevention plan is produced prior to the commencement of any construction project, outlining the health and safety rules that will be followed and how to perform safe work and protect workers, property, and equipment.

During projects, employees get continuing safety training, beginning with an induction session prior to coming on-site. Weekly toolbox briefings are held to keep personnel informed about the hazards that come with their activities.
