  • Provide contractual advice to the project management team to support informed decision-making.
  • Review, analyze, and coordinate contractual correspondences with subcontractors, clients, and consortium partners.
  • Evaluate, verify, and respond to contractual claims from subcontractors, including the preparation and updating of claims logs.
  • Conduct and manage meetings with subcontractors to discuss, negotiate, and finalize variations in coordination with the project management team.
  • Oversee subcontract and main contract closeout procedures, ensuring all necessary coordination until the issuance of the TOAC and FAC.
  • Manage early start activities for both subcontracts and main contracts, including the issuance and review of Letters of Guarantee (LGs), insurance policies, and all contractual deliverables.
  • Serve as the liaison between clients, partners, subcontractors, and the project team to ensure smooth communication and efficient issue resolution.
  • Provide recommendations and share lessons learned to improve the contract administration and contract formation processes.
  • Monitor and report on the overall contractual status of the project.
  • Review and ensure timely updates of all contract administration logs and project contract reports, including areas of concern, variation orders (VO) status, claims status, etc.
  • Initiate claims and counterclaims, identify claim events, prepare claim statements and notices, and ensure proper contemporary records are maintained.
  • Prepare, notify, and substantiate variations, ensuring all necessary internal and external communications are handled.
  • Review contractual documents during the tendering phase, conduct risk assessments, provide pricing considerations, and handle deviations and contractual clarifications, negotiating these with clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Min 5 years of experience in contract, specifically in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong understanding of contractual terms, conditions, and legal obligations.
  • Experience with subcontract and main contract management, including variations, claims, and closeout procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
