About the Role

Planning and Management:
• Participate in the development of the company strategy and provide all information required to support the decision-making process.
• Develop and follow-up the implementation of the financial strategy to achieve business objectives and take all necessary actions for improvement on time.
• Develop the HSE annual plan and budget including annual targets, projects, and all actions to achieve business objectives.
• Design, implement, and improve the HSE policies,processes, and procedures.
• Select, manage, appraise, develop, and provide all required support and guidance for the HSE team to ensure transfer of knowledge, the proper utilization of human resources, and achieve the planned performance.
Technical :
• Developing and leading the implementation and promotion of a Health and safety culture across the organization through the provision and development of Health and safety policies and procedures, including risk assessment, accident prevention, health initiatives and acknowledged personal responsibility.
• Facilitating the maintenance and management of occupational health, safety and well-being through HSE systems.
• In coordination with the Training and Development Department, deliver comprehensive Health and Safety training to promote, develop and sustain a positive Health and Safety awareness culture.
• Providing appropriate risk assessment methodology to comply with legislation and ensure all potential risks are identified and control measures implemented and monitored.
• Providing appropriate accident investigation process to ensure personal accountability and improve risk management, including monitoring and interpretation of statistical data.
• Handle safety assessments and deploy corrective measures to minimize hazard risk profile.
• Conducts safety audits both internal and external.
• Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and implement such changes where relevant.

Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree is Must.

15+ years in HSE department.

 Excellent use of Microsoft Office Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

 Knowledge of ISO certification process.

Previous experience in a similar role/environment is essential.

Qualification in occupational health and safety, such as a masters, NEBOSH intenational diplomais essential.

BSc/BA in safety management or relevant field is preferred
