Ramadan Tents: Providing Meals (Iftar) to Those in Need

During the holy month of Ramadan, and in collaboration with Misr El-Kheir and Mersal Foundations, we carried out impactful initiatives to support underprivileged communities.

In Manfalut, Assiut, Misr El-Kheir operates a Ramadan tent providing 500 meals daily to families and individuals in need, ensuring access to nutritious food during the holy month.

Similarly, Mersal Foundation has set up a Ramadan tent where a total of 3,000 meals are distributed throughout the month, helping vulnerable families and promoting a spirit of giving and community solidarity.

EDECS Foundation for Sustainable Development fully funded these Ramadan tents, reflecting our commitment to addressing food insecurity and supporting the most vulnerable communities. 

By providing meals in a welcoming environment, the Ramadan tents allow individuals and families to celebrate the holy month with dignity and access to nutritious food.
