EDECS Foundation Joins German Study Visit to Advance TVET in Construction

As part of the “Technical Support for the Comprehensive Technical Education Initiative,” EDECS Foundation joined a GIZ study visit to Germany from 1–7 June 2025.

The delegation explored Germany’s dual education model in construction and woodworking sectors, learning best practices in planning, equipping, and funding technical education.

Engineer Ayman ElBadawy, CEO of EDECS Foundation, represented civil society and the private sector in advancing Egypt’s TVET system.

The visit highlighted how public-private partnerships, such as SOKA-BAU, can create practical and sustainable training aligned with labor market needs, insights that it can be adapted to strengthen Egypt’s technical education.
