EDECS & Shagarha Lead Sustainable Palm Pollination Initiative in Obour City

EDECS & Shagarha Lead Sustainable Palm Pollination Initiative in Obour City

As part of its leading role in community service and advancing sustainability…

EDECS Foundation for Sustainable Development, in collaboration with Shagarha Foundation, has launched a first-of-its-kind initiative to pollinate palm trees in Obour City.

For the very first time, the “Green Orky” device is being used…

An advanced and innovative technology that enables highly efficient date palm pollination,

through precise systems that inject pollen directly into the palm.

Eliminating the need for climbing,

and replacing traditional methods,

while ensuring the highest safety standards… and significantly reducing risks.

During this initiative…

100 palm trees were successfully pollinated,

A step that aims to increase productivity,

deliver direct benefits to the residents and visitors of Obour City,

And maximize the value of our natural resources…

As part of the campaign…

“Let Our Palms Bear Fruit.”
